August 28, 2024 - The Career Center is collaborating with the K-State College of Education to host Ready-Set-Support on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024. Students will meet with area school districts to learn about becoming a substitute teacher, bus driver, coach, paraprofessional, lunchroom assistant and more. This event will be held in the K-State Student Union courtyard from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Individuals 18 years and older are eligible to apply for jobs with various school districts. All majors are welcome to attend, and students are welcome to stop by at their own convenience. Free fingerprinting services will be available, and all participants will be entered in a drawing to win AirPods.

Ready, Set, Support is a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with local school districts and learn how they can contribute to our community,” said Tiffany Coetzee, career advisor and liaison to the College of Education.
