April Fools' Day Surprise: Obtain Free Business Attire at the Career Closet Pop-Up
March 28, 2024 - The K-State Career Center is committed to serving K-State students in their career journey. The Career Closet is currently located at the Career Center; however, all K-State students are encouraged to attend this upcoming event to obtain free business attire from a wide selection of clothing donated by Kansas State faculty, staff, alumni and other professionals.
The Career Closet Pop-Up event will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the K-State Student Union Courtyard. Students are encouraged to attend this come and go event to select free gently used professional attire. “Don't be fooled by high priced fashion! Our event provides access to quality professional attire without the hefty price tag, ensuring everyone can dress for success” said Teresa Parkes, assistant director and liaison to the College of Health and Human Sciences.
The Career Closet benefits K-State students in need of business attire for career fairs, internships, interviews and more. This event is a great opportunity for students to prepare for any upcoming professional event.
