The Career Center offers career advising, career training, employer connections, online job listings, and other employment resources for K-State students and recent graduates.

Career Advising

New alumni within the first 12 months after graduation receive free career advising from the Career Center. Learn how you can make an appointment with your career advisor.

Alumni beyond 1 year of graduation may access Handshake for free and complete the referral and community resources request for more additional information. Appointments with advisors are no longer accessible.

Alumni Handshake Account:

  • All alumni after Aug 2017 have a Handshake account. Access your account through purple student login button using your eID and password. If your password is inactive, contact the IT help desk to reactivate it.
  • If you graduated before December 2017, you will need to request a Handshake account.
