Job posting caution
The Career Center attempts to check the validity and accuracy of job listings posted in Handshake. But because situations change rapidly in the marketplace, we do not and cannot guarantee that openings listed through the Career Center will still exist, as posted, at the time of inquiry.
The Career Center makes no representation or guarantee about positions listed and neither the Career Center nor Kansas State University is responsible for safety, wages, working conditions or other aspects of employment. It is the individual’s responsibility to thoroughly research the integrity of each organization to which he or she is applying.
Students and alumni should take all care and use common sense and caution when applying for or accepting any position. Do not disclose social security numbers, credit card information or bank account numbers to unknown individuals.
Please contact the Career Center or K-State's Office of Support and Accountability if you have any concerns or questions about a particular job listing or employer. Students may also complete the Employer of Concern online form. If you have been the victim of a scam using your school email account, please contact the K-State Police Department.
