Social Work

Social workers help people deal with their relationships with others by helping them solve their personal, family, and/or community problems. Social workers also help people grow and develop by learning to cope with or shape the social and environmental forces affecting daily life. Social work offers the chance to work with and for all kinds of people— regardless of wealth, race, or age—in all kinds of settings. Social workers practice in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, mental health clinics, psychiatric hospitals, and public agencies.
