An easy to use, all-in-one-place guide to help faculty and staff better assist students who are experiencing social-emotional challenges, and guide them to appropriate resources based on a continuum of needs and resources.
Green Bandana Project for Faculty and Staff
A faculty/staff version of the peer-to-peer training that promotes suicide prevention and mental health awareness through knowledge of effective listening skills and resources.
TELUS Health Student Support App (Free on Android or iOS)
The free TELUS Health Student Support app available to students also provides direct support to faculty and staff via its Staff and Faculty Consultation Service. Faculty and staff may consult with a mental health professional on a particular issue and speak with a counselor who can give you guidance on how best to manage difficult student situations. Just dial the same 1-866-743-7732 and request a staff and faculty consultation with a TELUS Health Student Support counselor.
Well-being Advising
A free service for K-State students that uses a non-clinical approach to guidance and support in the areas of social and emotional well-being. Helps students to develop skills and access resources needed to address their well-being challenges. Students can make appointments via NAVIGATE.
