Well-being Advising

Social and emotional well-being support
Create personalized well-being plan
Assistance with resource navigation

Well-being Advising is a free service for K-State students that uses a non-clinical approach to providing support in the areas of social and emotional well-being. Professional well-being advisors listen and help students develop skills and access resources needed to address their well-being needs.

Well-being advising is a great starting point for students who may be experiencing challenges related to their well-being and want to improve their self-advocacy and resiliency skills.

Students will engage in activities and explore strategies that could strengthen their well-being challenges, including the opportunity to take the PERMAH Wellbeing Survey. This tool can provide feedback in the areas of:

  • positive emotion
  • engagement
  • relationships
  • meaning
  • accomplishment
  • health

Students will be supported through regular check-ins, follow-up sessions, and campus referrals, when needed.
