Student Support & Accountability strives to foster an environment of collaboration, responsibility, and mutual respect in partnership with students and university members. SSA provides direct support and services to students, advocates on their behalf, offers referrals for academic and personal issues, addresses conduct and behavioral concerns, and serves as a supportive resource for students' family members. Advocacy

The Center for Advocacy, Response and Education (CARE) is a safe space for any member of the K-State community who has been affected by interpersonal violence. The confidential CARE advocates are available to meet with K-State students, faculty, and staff members who have experienced sexual violence, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, or sexual harassment. Survivor Advocates are here to offer support and aid individuals in exploring their options both on and off-campus. The Crisis Center in Manhattan provides confidential 24-hour hotlines, 24-hour crisis intervention, safe shelter, food and subsistence, advocacy, referrals, supportive counseling and other services to residents within Clay, Geary, Marshall, Pottawatomie, and Riley Counties. Domestic Violence Association of Central Kansas (Salina Campus)
Domestic Violence Association of Central Kansas (DVACK) provides the K-State Salina campus and Salina community free, confidential, 24-hour assistance, advocacy, hotline services and safe shelter for those who have experienced sexual or domestic violence. Call (785) 827-5862

Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) offers 24 hour confidential crisis assistance, therapy, support and advocacy for victims of rape and sexual assault, for sexually abused children and families, for adult survivors of child sexual abuse and for others affected by sexual violence. Safe Ride (Manhattan Campus)
Safe Ride operated by Lyft provides all students on the Manhattan campus free or discounted late-night rides within the city limits during the eligible windows utilizing the Lyft app. SafeRide is a program funded by students for students through the Student Services Fee and we heard your calls for a program that meets your immediate needs and safety concerns. Finding Courage and Hope: Financial Support for Women Experiencing Domestic Violence

LGBT National Help Center
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) National Help Center, founded in 1996, is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Utilizing a diverse group of LGBT volunteers, we operate three national hotlines, the LGBT National Hotline, the LGBT National Youth Talkline, and the LGBT National Senior Hotline as well as private, volunteer one-to-one online chat, that helps both youth and adults with coming-out issues, safer-sex information, school bullying, family concerns, relationship problems and a lot more.
