Course Timelines

Course Timelines:

All approvals need to be finalized prior to Early Enrollment dates - refer to the Academic Calendar or the Priority Dates & Enrollment Times for additional information.

It is also important to plan on the timing of changes to courses aiming for changes to be finalized prior to the semester course search being published. Students will begin to plan and add these courses to their shopping carts and planners and changes to a course can cause enrollment issues or planning issues that may require advisor/faculty advisor assistance.

Below is a sample schedule based on the meeting frequency of the committees outlined in the workflow for course consideration and approval. The step highlighted in bold with *, Faculty Senate, represents the final approval month, which is critical to consider when planning your course approval process and ensuring timely implementation in KSIS and enrollment for the respective term.
