The presentation will discuss how to establish mentoring programs for students of color at K-12 educational institutions. Additionally. how teacher attitudes impact the learning of all students, especially students of color. Additionally, our efforts at a primarily White institution to recruit more students of color (education majors) on to our campus. The Target audience is anyone involved in k-12 education as well as college admissions and recruiters interested in diversifying college campuses.
