Lance Bachmeier is a Professor of Economics and currently serves as the Director of Graduate Studies. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Northern State University (Aberdeen, SD), and a Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University. Prior to his appointment at Kansas State University, Bachmeier was an Assistant Professor of Economics at East Carolina University.

His research interests include time series econometrics, macroeconomics, and energy economics. His research has appeared in The Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Inquiry, International Review of Law and Economics, and Applied Economics Letters.
