Filing for SGA Elections

To be listed on the ballot, all candidates must:

1. File for office in KSIS here

**If you are enrolled in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design, file for Student Senate under the Graduate School, if prompted to, and contact the Elections Commissioner to have your filing changed to APD.

2. Attend an election training (see below)

3. Register any social media accounts used for campaign purposes

4. Submit a campaign expense report

Deadlines to file:

• Tuesday, February 11 at 11:59 PM: Deadline to file for Student Body President and Vice President
• Tuesday, February 25 at 11:59 PM: Deadline to file for all other positions (Student Senator, Union Governing Board, Collegian Media Group Student Advisory Committee)

 

If you are running for Student Body President and Student Body Vice President:

1. Fill out this Intent to File form and return it to Elections Commissioner Brandon Kirmer at brandonkirmer@ksu.edu.
   • When you have done so, we will schedule an individual training session for you and your campaign team.

 

If you are running for any other office:

You can attend any one of the following online or in-person meetings. You can expect the training to last 15-20 minutes. If none work for you, please contact brandonkirmer@ksu.edu.
