ELP Mission Statement

The mission of the English Language Program is to serve Kansas State University by:

• offering a full range of intensive English classes,
• assessing language proficiency,
• orienting students to American culture and the academic environment,
• providing academic and personal advising,
• facilitating students' transition to degree programs through support courses,
• developing special programs for short-term, exchange, and international partners, and
• contributing expertise to outreach and engagement initiatives in support of the university mission.
