Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management is responsible for leading emergency prevention, preparedness, response, continuity and recovery efforts for Kansas State University. Our goal is to minimize the impact of emergencies, to protect life and property, and to restore the normal functioning of the university following an emergency.

The emergency response guides provide information about what you should do in the case of various emergencies. Read through the guides so you know what actions to take during an emergency.
What to do in an emergency
Call 911 for any situation that requires IMMEDIATE police, fire or medical response to preserve life or property.
K-State Alerts
K-State Alerts is the university's emergency notification system. It communicates time-critical emergency information that has an immediate impact on our campuses. This could be related to weather, campus operations, closures or other emergencies.
