Join the Engagement Council
K-State is committed to fostering a culture of engagement that enhances our collective impact as a leading land-grant institution. To support this vision, we invite faculty, staff, and campus-based Extension professionals to join the K-State Engagement Council—a collaborative group focused on strengthening engagement activities across the university.
The Engagement Council is designed to enhance K-State’s impact by:
✅ Building Capacity – Develop skills for engagement and external partnerships.
✅ Creating Alignment – Provide input on university engagement priorities.
✅ Expanding Networks – Connect with colleagues and communities through research, teaching, and service.
By joining the Engagement Council, you'll gain valuable networking and professional development opportunities that support your career and engagement efforts.
We welcome your participation in the Engagement Council in 2025!

How are the Engagement Ambassadors different from the Engagement Council?
The Engagement Ambassadors group consists of a representative from every college and campus within K-State. This group works with the Office of Engagement to communicate engagement opportunities, measure impact, and build interdisciplinary partnerships.
The Engagement Council is a much broader group of K-State colleagues who are involved in all facets of University Engagement. The Council is the group of people who are doing the engagement that will elevate K-State's impact on the prosperity and health in the state of Kansas and beyond.
