K-State directly supported 12,846 jobs in Manhattan, with the university directly employing 6,713 positions (full-time and part-time) in the region.
Strengthening local and statewide tax bases
State and local government revenues attributable to K-State’s presence in Manhattan totaled $71.3 million in fiscal year 2023.
