I remember when Colin Klein led us to a Big 12 Championship with Tyler Lockett and when he was a finalist for the Heisman! (And should’ve won!)

Why did you choose K-State?

Both of my parents attended K-State and I have grown up bleeding purple. Now that I have the opportunity to represent this school through the Livestock Judging Team and the Meat Evaluation Team, I couldn’t be more excited!

How are you involved at K-State?

I am a member of the Block and Bridle, Collegiate Farm Bureau, ASI Mentors, I assist with the Little American Royal, I am also a member of the Current Livestock Judging team and was a contributing member of the National Champion Live Animal Meat Evaluation Team!

What has been your favorite K-State experience?

My favorite experience would be at the Rec Complex, when Keyonte, Nae'Qwan, Ish, and other members of the basketball team came and played with the rest of us last year. It was so cool!

How does K-State care for Kansans in your hometown community?

Being from a rural part of the state, agriculture is one of the primary economic drivers. Through K-State Research and Extension, they provide access to information, tests, and advice that assist farmers with planting, scheduling, and treating diseases that may come to affect their crops or livestock. Also, the promotion of agriculture through 4-H is something that K-State does a great job of using to recruit kids to come up to Manhattan!

Why do you want to bring K-State to your community?

I believe that my community would greatly benefit from learning all of the research that K-State is doing in relation to agriculture. And how much more our institution is than a school, not only do are we being educated, but we also are assisting with research trials and other activities that could help to shape the industry.
