Why did you choose K-State?

I chose K-State for three main reasons. The College of Business Administration won me over with its stellar job placement rate and incredible business building. The entire campus is quite accessible for its size, and there is a willingness to make changes where accessibility is lacking. It might sound cliché, but the people I met and the relationships I made in the recruitment process assured me that K-State was the right place for me to pursue my undergraduate education.

How are you involved at K-State?

I am or have been active in the Menard's Family Business Scholars, Greek life, Quest Freshmen Honorary, Catalyst, Intercultural Leadership Council, Committee for Universal Design & Accessibility, Staley School of Leadership, Student Foundation, Student Governing Association, Clifton Strengths coach and Chimes Junior Honorary.

What has been your favorite K-State experience?

It's hard to choose. I enjoy working as a Clifton Strengths peer coach for the Staley School of Leadership, speaking about disability and ableism at the Diversity Summit hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences and, of course, going to football games with my friends!

How does K-State care for Kansans in your hometown community?

Saline County is full of K-State alumni and internship opportunities. K-State's Salina campus is important to my community and extends a variety of higher education opportunities to students.

Why do you want to bring K-State to your community?

K-State already has a strong presence in my community, but I want to bring the idea that students from Saline County can thrive as they build connections within the student communities and the leadership opportunities available to them at K-State.
