Bonilla has a master’s degree in Family and Community Services from Kansas State University. She has experience as an extension agent with K-State Research and Extension. Within this role, she collaborated with community stakeholders to identify and address community needs. She also was a human services assistant for the Kansas Department of Children and Families, where she provided support for multiple programs in the DCF service center by assisting staff in the coordination of services.
