its author(s) as well as the information it presents.
-
Literature
Resource Center Database (Gale Group). The best place to
begin your research, since these entries will offer an overview
of an author's life and work.
Children's
Literature Subject Guide (KSU Libraries). This page has links
to resources (both print and web) assembled by KSU librarians.

Recommended Search Engines and Directories:
- Google. (Highly accurate
because it ranks a site based on how many other sites link to
that site; frequently updated.)
- Mamma. (Meta-search engine.)
- Vivisimo. (Meta-search
engine that calls itself a "clustering engine"; quite
accurate and interesting organization of results, but does restrict
viewing your search results from within the frame.)
- MLA
Style Guide. Also see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
on MLA Style at the Modern Language
Association.
