Order of Omega
Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of fraternity and sorority organizations. Order of Omega recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have exemplified high standards in scholarship and leadership, as well as involvement within their respective organization and within the fraternity/sorority, campus, and local community. Members are selected from the top 5% of students at each institution.
More than 500 chapters have been chartered throughout North America, each sharing the common goal of recognizing the many outstanding student leaders at their institution. The Delta Gamma chapter of Order of Omega at Kansas State University was established in January of 1982.
Order of Omega is rebuilding at K-State with a vision to create a space where leaders from across our four Greek councils can come together, elevate one another, and make a meaningful impact on both the K-State and Manhattan communities.
This is an opportunity to be part of something from the ground up. You won’t just be joining an organization, you’ll have a hand in shaping its foundation, culture, and future on our campus.
Requirements
- Applicants should have a cumulative GPA above a 3.0.
- Applicants must have a sophomore, junior, or senior class standing as of the semester of application.
- Submit the one-time initiation fee due upon initation into Order of Omega.

- WHEREAS, The Order of Omega serves to recognize outstanding leadership in fraternity and sorority community on college and university campuses, and
- WHEREAS, the recognized leadership serves to promote fraternity and sorority life on campuses, and
- WHEREAS, outstanding leadership requires being a role model for fraternity and sorority chapter leaders and members, therefore,
- BE IT RESOLVED: that Order of Omega Chapter members adopt and promote the following position statements with their campus Order of Omega chapter, Greek governing bodies, and individual fraternity and sorority chapters.
