For 150 years, the Gardens have been a beautiful part of the Kansas State University campus. In 2025 we're celebrating this milestone with a variety of exciting events.

Indulge in a delightful luncheon as we journey through the storied past of our beloved gardens with the esteemed Dr. Chuck Marr, emertitus professor of Horticulture, Kansas State University

Then dive deeper into the world of ornamental horticulture with a captivating talk by the renowned Karl Gercens III from Longwood Gardens in Kennet Square, PA.

Egg-Stravaganza Photo Op

This is the opportunity to get an individual or family photo with the Easter Bunny in the beautiful spring gardens. 8,000 + tulips will be in full bloom — weather permitting!

Enjoy Harvest Season Fun at the Gardens! Get into the autumn spirit by visiting the Gardens to view the incredible Jack-O-Lanterns crafted by the talented students of Manhattan-Ogden USD 383! This is a perfect way to celebrate the harvest season, with creative and spooky designs lighting up the garden paths. Don’t miss out on this festive and artistic display that brings the community together.
