Sabreen joined the geology department in the Fall of 2010. Her main research interests are focused on: Rock physics and application of remote sensing in geological mapping. During her PhD, she worked on the Geologic and tectonic evolution of the Wadi Kid area, Sinai, Egypt, based on field and satellite remote sensing studies. Currently she is teaching Earth Through Time, Earth in Action, Geology of the National Parks, and Environmental Geology.
