Raef teaches our courses in applied geophysics, seismic data processing, seismic data interpretation, field geophysics, and physical geology. His research interests are in 3D and 4D seismic reservoir characterization for enhanced oil recovery and carbon sequestration with emphasis on integrating laboratory ultrasonic measurements and machine learning geoscience applications. Raef's research interests also include near surface environmental and engineering geophysics applications.
