Legislative Review Sessions

The Office of Government Relations will host weekly Legislative Review Sessions during the session in an effort to keep the campus community informed on legislative issues affecting the university.

All K-State faculty, staff and students are invited to join our government relations team to learn about current legislation relevant to K-State and higher education.

The Legislative Review Sessions are offered every Friday at 8 a.m. via Zoom.

Legislative meeting preparation

Whether you're heading to Washington, D.C., making the trip to Topeka or connecting with policy-makers anywhere else - the team offers personalized coaching to help prepare you for these meetings. These services are available as needed and tailored to your specific needs and circumstances.

 

Group advocacy training

For teams wanting to level up their advocacy skills, the team offers training sessions that can be in-person, Zoom or a mix of both. These sessions are led by the experienced government relations team members and are customizable based on your group's needs. These sessions are built on the proven training framework.
