Graduate Student Appreciation Month
Initiated by the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students, Graduate Student Appreciation Week is celebrated the first week of April each year. At K-State, we recognize graduate students throughout the month of April.
Below is a list of activities to recognize K-State's graduate students. Colleges, departments, or programs may have additional appreciation activities not listed here.
Celebration on social media

K-State Olathe
April 7-11
All students can stop by the Student Success Center to receive a K-State Koozie and enter a drawing to win a swag basket. We will also have treats available all week.

Pizza Party for College of Arts and Sciences grad students

JP's in the Union
The College of Arts and Sciences will host a pizza party at Union Station by JP’s in the K-State Student Union. One Arts and Sciences graduate student who attends will win a $500 prize for academic or conference costs. Space is limited! Arts and Sciences graduate students who plan to attend are asked to RSVP by 3 p.m., April 4.

Conversation with Provost Mendez and Bowling Social

Graduate students are invited to a conversation with Provost Mendez and the Provost’s leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask questions and engage in conversation with the Provost on topics related to your academic and professional success and well-being. The conversation will be followed by a social in the Union Bowling Alley. Join us to take a mental break from academic life, make new connections, and enjoy friendly competition. Register here!
Graduate Student and Faculty Recognition Celebration
April 27 | 5:00 - 7:00pm
Grand Ballroom, K-State Student Union
President Linton’s Office, in collaboration with the Graduate School and Graduate Student Council, will sponsor the Graduate Student and Faculty Recognition Celebration. All graduate students and graduate faculty are welcome to attend. Visit the event page for details and to RSVP by April 18!
