Commencement Ceremony

While traditional spring commencement ceremonies will be combined with the fall 2020 ceremonies, Kansas State University still wants to celebrate the spring 2020 graduates.

Below are links to a variety of virtual commencement celebrations to honor the achievements of our students.

Campuses and colleges

Kansas State Polytechnic
A virtual commencement ceremony will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 9.

K-State Global Campus
The campus is continuing its tradition of offering a virtual commencement website for distance education graduates. Distance students are invited to submit videos, photos and messages for the website.

College of Agriculture
The college will share a senior video in recognition of its spring and summer graduates on its social media channels.

College of Architecture, Planning & Design
On Saturday, May 16, the college will share a slideshow recognizing each graduate.

College of Arts and Sciences
Each department is sending its graduates a message of congratulations along with a congratulatory video message from the dean. Some departments also have planned virtual celebrations.

College of Business Administration
The college will provide an online tribute to its graduates. It will include a video from the dean and a graphic for each graduate.

College of Education
The college will send a special video message to all graduates and will recognize award winners and seniors on social media.

College of Engineering
The college will provide special video messages to its graduates.

College of Health and Human Sciences
The college will share the names of all graduates at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, and also will recognize outstanding seniors on social media.

College of Veterinary Medicine
A virtual ceremony will occur at 4 p.m., Friday, May 15.

First-generation student graduation recognition
Facebook Live event: 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 15

Staley School of Leadership Studies virtual graduation reception
Zoom event: 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 15
Graduating seniors will receive a Zoom invitation by email. If you missed it, email leadership@k-state.edu to get the link.

Alumni Association

The K-State Alumni Association is celebrating spring 2020 graduates in multiple ways, including videos, social media, graduation cap decorating events and more.
