Graduation checklist
Complete the graduation application
Applications for graduation are submitted through your KSIS Student Center. All degree requirements, as detailed in the Academic Catalog, must be completed prior to the close of the term in which your degree is to be awarded. Submit your application by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 to ensure your name is listed in the Fall 2024 commencement program.
Please contact your dean's office for:
- deadline information
- changes to your graduation application
Submit transcript orders
Transcripts are ordered through KSIS under the Other Academic tile. All financial obligations to the university must be cleared prior to ordering.
To ensure degrees will be included on final transcripts, orders should be placed after the degree has been awarded. To confirm the degree has been awarded in KSIS, view an unoffical transcript or academic history. Officical transcripts can be ordered at no-charge until the following dates:
- Last Friday of January for fall graduates
- Last Friday of June for spring graduates
- Last Friday of September for summer graduates
Check your diploma name and mailing address
Access your KSIS Student Center to check/update your diploma name and mailing address.
Diplomas are mailed approximately 4-6 weeks after the degree is awarded in KSIS. Access your KSIS Student Center to check/update your diploma name and mailing address. Diploma names and address changes must be updated by January 1st fall graduates, May 15th for spring graduates, and August 15th for summer graduates
Please ensure all international addresses are up-to-date and your KSIS record includes a telephone number and email address to reach you once you have returned to your home country.
Review your holds and "to do" list in KSIS
Visit your KSIS Student Center to ensure you do not have any holds that impact your diploma and/or transcript. Your diploma and/or transcript may not be released until all financial obligations to the university have been resolved.
