EAP Group Sessions Available
In times of change, it’s natural to experience a range of emotions, sometimes including frustration, anxiety, fear and distress. Recent developments associated with the federal transition have left some individuals feeling uncertain, and we recognize the impact this can have on both personal well-being and workplace engagement.
To support our staff, faculty and graduate students, Human Resources is offering virtual Employee Assistance Program (EAP) group sessions during spring break to address ways to process these changes and develop healthy coping strategies. These confidential sessions will be facilitated by our trusted EAP partner, Tanisha Harrell, and will provide a safe, judgment-free space for open discussion, guidance and support.
Tanisha Harrell is a national certified counselor. She supports organizations through sensitive circumstances and with concerns related to mental health, substance use and diversity, equity and inclusion. She has a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor’s in psychology from Prairie View A&M University.
