Welcome to the Kansas State University Herbarium!

The Kansas State University Herbarium (KSC) is a research natural history museum that serves as a foundational resource for studies of plant biodiversity. The Herbarium was established ca. 1877 and today contains over 180,000 specimens of plants from around the world, including vascular plants and bryophytes, with a focus on the Great Plains of North America.
