Case #2016/2017-150 – A junior was alleged to have submitted a paper with several sections taken from various sources without proper attribution (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with the option to redo the paper for a reduced score.

Case #2016/2017-149 – A senior was alleged to have submitted a paper with several sections taken from various sources without proper attribution (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a one page reflection paper and the possibility to earn half credit on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-148 – A senior was alleged to have submitted a research project in which a large section matched a Wikipedia entry without citation (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a reduced grade.

Case #2016/2017-147 – A senior was alleged to have submitted electronic work that was electronically identified as belonging to another student (not in attendance at this school) (falsification). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment and the loss of all extra credit opportunities.

Case #2016/2017-145 – A sophomore was alleged to have submitted a paper with information from a website that was not cited (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with an XF for the course.

Case #2016/2017-144 – A freshman was alleged to have submitted a paper that was nearly entirely taken from online sources (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a loss of one course letter grade, a zero on the assignment, and the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-143 – Two graduate students were alleged to have collaborated on one or more of their problems in a take home exam (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a reduced grade on the exam and the requirement to complete the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-142 – A junior was alleged to have falsified attendance at an event to gain extra credit (falsification). The reporter sanctioned the student with a letter grade reduction and the requirement to complete the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-141 – A junior was alleged to have obtained and copied a former student’s previous work to complete his/her own assignment (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-140 – A senior was alleged to have submitted a final paper with another student’s name on it (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with an XF.

Case #2016/2017-139 – Three students were alleged to have taken a final exam early, but then told other students about what was on the exam (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a warning.

Case #2016/2017-138 – Two juniors were alleged to have collaborated during a take home examination (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a reduction of course grade, a zero on the exam, and the requirement to take the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-137 – A senior was alleged to have taken and used an i-clicker for a friend in class. The reporter sanctioned the student with the requirement to take the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-136 – A senior was alleged to taken a solution directly from an online resource during a take home examination (plagiarism and unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the student with a reduction of course grade, a zero on the exam, and the requirement to take the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-135 – Nine seniors were alleged to collaborated during a take home examination (plagiarism, unauthorized aid, and unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a reduction of course grade, a zero on the exam, and the requirement to take the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-134 – A senior was alleged to have submitted electronic work that was electronically identified as belonging to another student (not in attendance at this school) (falsification). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment and the loss of all extra credit opportunities.

Case #2016/2017-133 – One senior was alleged to have used notes written on his/her calculator during an exam (unauthorized aid). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the exam.

Case #2016/2017-132 – One senior was alleged to have submitted work that was copied directly from a second senior who allowed the work to be copied (plagiarism and unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-131 – A senior and a sophomore was alleged to have submitted homework assignments with each other’s names embedded into the assignment (plagiarism and unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with an XF for the class and the requirement to take EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-130 – A freshman was alleged to have been looking at an assignment from another student while completing their own assignment (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a warning.

Case #2016/2017-129 – A sophomore was alleged to have submitted an assignment with no paper trail and with information included which came directly from another un-cited source (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with an XF in the class.

Case #2016/2017-128 – A junior was alleged to have copied another student’s homework and turned it in as his/her own (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment, a reduction of one letter grade for the final course grade, and the requirement to complete EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-127 – A freshman was alleged to have submitted work that was created by another student (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a reduced grade on the assignment and the requirement to complete EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-126 – A senior was alleged to have submitted work with a large portion copied and pasted from other sources without proper attribution (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment with the option to submit a new assignment.

Case #2016/2017-121 – Two seniors were alleged to have submitted assignments nearly identical to each other (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-120 – A freshman and a sophomore were alleged to have submitted assignments nearly verbatim to each other (unauthorized collaboration and plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the students with an XF and the requirement to take EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-119 – A senior was alleged to have submitted an assignment with multiple sections directly copied and pasted from an online source without attribution. The reporter sanctioned the student with an XF.

Case #2016/2017-118 – A senior was alleged to have submitted an assignment that was nearly identical to an assignment that had been submitted by another student last year (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment and a cap on the course grade of a D.

Case #2016/2017-117 – A freshman and a sophomore were alleged to have submitted identical assignments (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the students with a warning and a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-116 – Two juniors were alleged to have submitted assignments which a high level of similarity to them (unauthorized collaboration/plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the students with a warning.

Case #2016/2017-115 – A freshman was alleged to have used his/her phone during an in class writing assignment for assistance (unauthorized collaboration). The reporter sanctioned the student with a warning, a reduced grade on a re-take assignment, and a zero on the original assignment.

Case #2016/2017-114 – A freshman was alleged to have lied to his/her professor about attempting to access an online exam (falsification). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the exam and the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-113 – A junior was alleged to have lied to his/her professor about attempting to access an online exam (falsification). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the exam and the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-112 – A non-degree student was alleged to have copied and pasted answers in submitted homework without proper attribution (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a warning and a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-111 – A freshman was alleged to submitted an assignment without any proper citations (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with an XF.

Case #2016/2017-109 – A graduate student was alleged to have submitted an assignment which included a portion that had been copied and pasted from online sources plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-108 – A sophomore was alleged to have submitted an assignment in which significant portions were copied word-for-word from an online source without quotation marks or proper attribution (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with an XF.

Case #2016/2017-107 – A freshman was alleged to have submitted an assignment in which significant portions were copied word-for-word from an online source without quotation marks or proper attribution (plagiarism). The reporter sanctioned the student with a reduced grade on the assignment and the Development and Integrity Class.

Case #2016/2017-106 – A senior was alleged to have been consulting unauthorized material during an exam and then initially lying about the material to the professor (unauthorized aid and falsification). The reporter sanctioned the student with a warning and stipulation on how future exams would be taken.

Case #2016/2017-105 - A freshman was alleged to have used work from a previous semester to complete current assignments (unauthorized aid). The reporting professor sanctioned the student with a reduced grade on all assignments affected.

Case #2016/2017-104 - A graduate student was alleged to have falsified information while completing an off campus internship. The reporting professor submitted the case as an option 2 case.

Case #2016/2017-103 - A sophomore was alleged to have used work from a previous semester to complete current assignments (unauthorized aid). The reporting professor sanctioned the student with a reduced grade on all assignments affected.

Case #2016/2017-102 - A senior was alleged to have plagiarized material. The reporting professor sanctioned the student with a 1 page reflection paper.

Case #2016/2017-101 - A junior was alleged to have plagiarized material. The reporting professor sanctioned the student with a 1 page reflection paper.

Case #2016/2017-100 - A freshman was alleged to have plagiarized material from an online resource. The reporting instructor sanctioned the student with an official warning and EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-099 - A freshman was alleged to have plagiarized material. The reporting instructor sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment and EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-098 - A sophomore was alleged to have plagiarized the work of others. The reporting professors sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment and EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-097 - An instructor reported a sophomore for allegedly copying material from a resource (plagiarism). The sanction issued was a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-096 - A freshman was alleged to have submitted work created by others (unauthorized aid and/or unauthorized collaborated). The reporting professor sanctioned the student with an official warning and EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-095 - A graduate student was alleged to have copied material from a resource and submitted as original (plagiarism). The reporting professor sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-094 - Two juniors were alleged to have shared files and worked together to complete their assignments (unauthorized collaboration). The reporting instructor sanctioned the students with a zero on the assignments and the loss of all extra credit opportunities.

Case #2016/2017-093 - A senior and sophomore were alleged to have worked together on an individual assignment (unauthorized collaboration and/or falsification). The reporting instructor sanctioned the students with the loss of all extra credit opportunities.

Case #2016/2017-092 - Two freshmen were alleged to have worked together on an individual assignment (unauthorized collaboration). The reporting professor sanctioned the students with zeros on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-091 - A junior was alleged to have failed to cite the work of others properly. The reporting instructor sanctioned the student with an official warning and the requirement to meet with the Writing Center.

Case #2016/2017-090 - A freshman was alleged to have copied the work of another student (academic misconduct). The reporting professor sanctioned the student with an official warning.

Case #2016/2017-089 - A sophomore was alleged to have copied a solution from a solution's manual (unauthorized collaboration). The sanctions issued were a zero on the assignment, a letter grade reduction and EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-088 - A junior was alleged to have copied a solution from a solution's manual (unauthorized collaboration). The sanctions issued were a zero on the assignment, a letter grade reduction and EDCEP 502.

Case #2016/2017-079 - Three seniors and 2 juniors were alleged to have submitted identical work (unauthorized collaboration and/or falsification). The reporting instructor sanctioned the students with a zero on the assignment and zero opportunities for extra credit.

Case #2016/2017-078 - Two freshmen were alleged to have attempted to obtain assignment key information while the instructor was out of the room (academic misconduct). The reporting instructor sanctioned the students with an official warning and a zero on the assignment.

Case #2016/2017-007 - A graduate student plagiarized substantial material for a prelim. exam. The reporting professors filed report as an option 2 and recommended permanent XF grade(s) and expulsion.

Case #2016/2017-006 - A senior was alleged to have attempted to obtain attendance points while not being present for the entire lecture. The reporting instructor sanctioned the student with no future option to submit make-up work and a grade reduction.

Case #2016/2017-005 - A sophomore was alleged to have submitted work that was not his/her own (plagiarism). The reporting instructor sanctioned the student with a zero on the assignment, EDCEP 502 and an XF in the course.
