Responsibilities of a Member of the Honor Council
As a member of the Council, you will be expected to perform several basic duties:

attend meetings--Professional development meetings are held for new members in the fall and as new members are appointed.

respond quickly--(honor@ksu.edu) when an Honor & Integrity System staff person requests information, an indication of availability for case investigations or hearing panels, or a vote on Honor Council business.

serve as an educator--informing students and faculty about the K-State Honor & Integrity System and its mission and policies; promoting academic integrity on campus.
- serve as a hearing panel member or Case Review Board member--hearing all information and determining whether a student is responsible or not responsible for an Honor Pledge violation, and if found responsible, a fair and educational sanction.
