Prerequisite: Be able to use a web browser that supports HRIS and attend the HRIS On-Line Basics course

Audience: Department HR Liaisons
Session Description: An interactive one-on-one training session will be offered by trainers from Human Resources who have expertise in time and leave entry. Participants will have access to a computer during the training.
Session Objectives: As a result of this session, participants will:
- Gain knowledge of policies and procedures
- Understand time and leave deadlines
- Understand about the relationship between work and holiday schedules, position management, earnings code and employee data
- Print employee time documents
- Identify earning codes to be used for different employee types
- Enter employee's time and leave from employee time documents
- Practice error detection and correction
- Maintain leave balances
- Understand time entry pages and leave accrual pages in HRIS
