Scholarships and Educational Opportunities

The Indigenous Alliance Native American Indigenous Scholarship is a one-year $1500 scholarship awarded to a new first year and/or transferring student, enrolled full-time for both fall and spring semesters, who is supportive of Native American or Indigenous activities at Kansas State University.

The scholarship is funded by K-State’s Division of Student Life in support of recruitment and retention for Native American or Indigenous students who demonstrate a vision of leadership in their community.

ELIGIBILITY

Scholarships are awarded to students who assist with two Indigenous Alliance events and represent Indigenous perspectives at one large multicultural event, as well as meet the criteria below:

  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status
  • Native American or Indigenous heritage
  • New incoming freshman and/or transferring K-State student
  • Enrolled full-time, or 12 minimum hours
