Reservations for use of the International Student Center (ISC) must be made by a representative of the sponsoring organization who will serve as the liaison with International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). Consideration of each request is based on the timing of the event in relation to other activities and events; the ability of staff to accommodate your request; and the suitability of the event with regard to the safety and security of the facility, it's contents and participants.
Regular business hours are: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The office door is open for walk-ins from 9:30-12pm and 1:30-4pm. Times requested outside of the regular business hours are subject to the availability of a building supervisor.
- Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. A signed contract and deposit must be received in order to secure your reservation at least 3 days before the event. Cancellations must be filed at least 48 business hours in advance of the scheduled event. If you cancel later that 48 hours, any fees paid will be forfeited or you will receive an invoice for the total charges stated on the contract.

- Room rental arrangements can be made in-person through ISSS during regular business hours. The office door is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. You must also complete the building use agreement form below.
- Groups or individuals will not be refunded usage fees for unused time. In addition, a group or individual going over an allotted reservation time will be charged additional fees.
- All fees must be paid to the ISSS within 21 days of receipt of invoice. Failure to make payment will result in suspension of future building use privileges.
- Failure to properly clean the areas used will result in forfeiture of deposit and possible suspension of future building use privileges.
- You are required to check in and out with the building supervisor. The user (or a designated representative) must be present at all times. It must be clear to the building supervisor who is in charge of the organization's activity or event.
- Any student or group wishing to use the room for food events, food sales, or food festivals that will be open to the public must make their reservations at least three weeks in advance and must contact the University’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) office (safety@ksu.edu) as soon as possible to have their menu approved. Your reservation will not be guaranteed until after EHS has approved your event. If the ISSS office does NOT have a copy of the approval at least 3 days in advance, your event will be automatically canceled.
- User is responsible for setting up any tables and chairs needed for the event and also for properly cleaning and storing them afterwards.
- No furniture may be removed or placed outside of the building.
- No decorations are allowed on the walls of the Multipurpose Room.
- No cooking is permitted. Stoves and ovens in the kitchen can only be used to keep food warm.
- Children must be supervised at all times by an adult from the group. Failure to supervise children may result in suspension.
- Groups using the building are required to be cleaned up, checked out with the building supervisor and out of the building no later than 5:00 pm when the building closes. Failure to do this will result in forfeiture of deposit and may result in suspension of building use privileges.
- Kansas State University prohibits the consumption of alcohol, tobacco or controlled substances as well as the use of candles or any other items that produce smoke in both the building and on surrounding grounds.
Terms of agreement:
User agrees to assume full responsibility for any and all damages and/or misuse of the facility which may occur during the specified lease period.
User agrees to pay in full all damages, excess cleaning charges and/or other misuse fees determined to be the responsibility of the user, including any equipment use. Failure to make prompt payment of charges will result in suspension of future building use privileges.
Appeal of any additional fees must be presented to ISSS within 1 week of notification of the fee.
User agrees to release Kansas State University, its officers, employees and agents from all claims for any injury, bodily harm or property damage arising from use of the facility.
I have read and understand the terms of this agreement and the rules for use of the ISSS and in consideration of being allowed such use, on behalf of the above-named organization I agree to abide by all of its terms and conditions.
