Planning for the Future: Farm and Ranch Succession
The transfer of ownership, management, and leadership from one generation to another is an important issue for farms, ranches, and rural communities across Kansas. The North Central Extension Risk Management Education Center and the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture awarded K-State Research & Extension and Kansas Agricultural Mediation Services a grant to provide succession services and resources to Kansas agriculturists.
This website provides agricultural producers general information on succession planning as well as in-depth resources on family, financial, legal and power transfer topics.
