Summary: In the second match of the day, K-State/Fort Riley earned another victory in this 60-minute game. In the first half, Emporia came out strong, earning the first try plus a conversion. K-State answered back with a try by Kenny Scott, followed by a conversion by Dan Knapp. Tied 7-7, KSUFR took the lead when Dan Knapp kicked for points. Before the end of the half, however, Emporia was also able to kick for points, tying the game 10 to 10. During the second half K-State was able to take the lead, earning several tries. Emporia also earned a couple of tries, but K-State was able to hold the lead, winning 33-17.
