Secretary-Treasurer David Yoder, KAØJPM, called the meeting to order at 10 a.m. Nominations were taken for election of officers, as required in Article XIII of the club constitution. One nominee was submitted for each office. The following were elected for the 2014 term: President: Matt Robertson, KDØWGZ Secretary-Treasurer: David Yoder, KAØJPM Station Manager: Vern Wirka, WØVMP Activities Manager: Garrett Peterson The Secretary-Treasurer yielded the floor to newly-elected President Matt Robertson. It was tentatively agreed to meet on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. David Yoder reported that the club had started to get $5.00 monthly charges for inactivity in our KSU Credit Bureau checking account. After the meeting, he journeyed in person to the credit bureau, made a $20 deposit to bring an end to the inactivity, and persuaded them to cancel the $10.00 of charges (which amounted to 83 months' worth of puny dividends being received in our checking account).
There was discussion on arranging a testing session for the near future, as there is considerable interest among members of an electronics club in Engineering.
