The regular meeting of the KSUARC was called to order by Robert Cox, KBØMVZ at 6:30 P.M.
The secretary-treasurer was late, but according to legend, this is what happened...
Chris Casey, NØVRP reported on the packet radio / internet project. The 386 computer now has an ethernet card installed. Norm Dillman, NØJCC was designated and empowered to spend as much money as necessary to get the project up and running. Cool, huh?
Robert Cox called for nominations for club offices for 1997. Those nominated were: (president - Chris Casey, NØVRP and Kurt Zoglmann, KBØTMQ); (vice-president/activities manager - Matt Meerian, KBØYRO); (secretary-treasurer - David Yoder, KAØJPM); (station manager - Bill Kuhn, KO4MH).
Although the constitution calls for election of officers at the first meeting in January, we intend to take care of this at the Dec. 3 meeting, since we have officers graduating.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 P.M.
David Yoder, KAØJPM
secretary-treasurer
