Leasure Hall temporary electrical power shutdown
Beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, all electrical power to Leasure Hall will be turned off. An contractor will replace the building's existing electrical system. Work will continue throughout the evening with electrical power expected to be restored before midnight.
These improvements are planned to replace K-State's aging electrical power grid and outdated electrical equipment installed in the 1950s and 1960s. The new electrical system will be a more reliable electrical power source for campus buildings.
