K-State Farmers Market scheduled for Wednesday
Union Program Council and the Wildcat Wellness Coalition invite students, faculty, staff and the Manhattan community to the K-State Farmers Market from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, on Bosco Student Plaza.
Vendors include student organizations, K-State students, faculty and staff. A variety of handmade arts and crafts, homegrown foods, henna tattoos and more will be available for purchase. Cash is preferred at the market. In case of inclement weather, the K-State Farmers Market will take place in the K-State Student Union courtyard on the ground floor.
UPC will provide free pumpkins to decorate while supplies last and Wildcat Wellness Coalition will provide canvas bags with a purchase.
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Bosco Student Plaza, there will be a costume contest put on by S.A.G.A. with help from UPC. From 12:30-1 p.m. the winner for best homemade costume, scariest costume, cutest costume and best overall costume will be announced. There will be prizes!
