Ignacio Ciampitti is Communicator of the Year
Ignacio Ciampitti, associate professor of agronomy and extension crop production and cropping systems specialist, has been named the 2018 K-State Research and Extension Communicator of the Year. He was honored at the KSRE Awards luncheon Oct. 18 for his consistent efforts to reach a range of audiences through various means with a focus on making Kansas agriculture even better.
The award is given by the Kansas Chapter of Association for Communication Excellence and the K-State communications and agricultural education department. Ciampitti was chosen from a strong field of nominees from across the extension system.
