Submitted by Jakob Alexander Hanschu

Sheila Cavanagh, professor of English at Emory University and founding director of the World Shakespeare Project, will speak about foodways in early modern England, focusing on social status and food practices.

She will present "'What Say You to a Neat's Foot?': Shakespearean Manipulations of Food Practices Among the Elite in Early Modern England" from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in the Big 12 Room of the K-State Student Union.

The event is co-hosted by K-State's primary texts certificate program and the English department.
