DMSA Family Recognition Celebration nominations
The Department of Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs invites everyone in the K-State community to nominate your friends and colleagues on campus for the DMSA Family Recognition Pinning Celebration. The next celebration will take place at 2 p.m. on Oct. 30 in the Office of First-generation Students. It will be co-hosted by the K-State Student Union.
We are recognizing students, faculty and staff who embrace our ideals of diversity, equity and inclusivity and thanking individuals for their efforts to make our multicultural students feel valued as a part of the K-State family. This is a new ceremony that we will host once each month to recognize all nominees for their positive contributions to the K-State community.
To nominate, visit the DMSA website. Provide us with the name and email address of the person you are nominating, and write about 50 words about why they deserve a DMSA Family pin. All nominations are anonymous. This is not a competition or an award, we are simply thanking the K-State community for all that you do to promote diversity and inclusion. All nominees will receive a DMSA Family pin and thank-you note.
All nominees will receive an email invitation informing them of the ceremony, but all on campus are invited to attend. Please show support for your friends and colleagues by participating in the second DMSA Family Recognition ceremony of the semester.
