Submitted by Gabrielle Phillips
The Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society K-State chapter, a registered departmental student organization, will host Adam Dear from Biosense Webster to present a seminar about biomedical career opportunities and professional development. The event is from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in 93 Engineering Hall.
Biosense Webster representatives will be taking resumes and Chipotle will be provided while supplies last.
The following is a brief preview from Dear:
"Biosense Webster designs and develops medical devices for cardiac ablation surgeries. Clinical account specialists operate a 3D cardiac mapping software throughout the surgery, constructing a model of the patient's heart to help the surgeon navigate. As a part of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices, our fast-growing company leads innovation and technology in the industry, and is currently looking to hire."
