Greetings K-Staters,

Today you will receive a personalized link for the 2020 University Climate Survey through an email from Viewfinder. As announced Feb. 3 in a letter from President Richard Myers, the university is conducting the survey to help improve the experience and well-being of our university community.

Since our last survey in 2014, K-State has unveiled many new initiatives, programs, services and administrative positions. The 2020 University Climate Survey will help us understand where and how these new efforts may make a difference and where continued opportunities for growth exist. Your voice matters.

Your participation in the survey is important, and your feedback will help the university continue its commitment to providing an inclusive and diverse environment as well as inform the 2025 strategic plan refresh.

After completing the survey, there will be a link to follow to a separate form. You may choose to complete this form for a chance to win one of many drawings. You must complete the survey to be eligible for the incentives. The full list of incentives is detailed on the form. Please know that entering the drawing for incentives will not affect the confidentiality of the survey.

We invite you to visit the climate survey website for more information regarding the survey, FAQs and timeline.

On behalf of the steering and survey development groups and those who took the pilot survey, we thank you for participating in the survey. We also thank K-State Athletics, Housing and Dining Services, Parking Services, K-State Student Union, Union Bookstore, and Office of the President for donating prizes as incentives for completing the survey.

Sincerely,

Bryan Samuel, CCDP/AP
