Powercat Financial to host 'Paying for College as a Diverse Student' panel March 1

Submitted by Jodi Kaus

Whether you are an incoming student or a seasoned pro, the process of paying for college can be complicated.

Come to the "Paying for College as a Diverse Student" panel at 7 p.m. Monday, March 1, to learn more about the different ways available to pay for college with four student panelists and Powercat Financial. The event will take place in the Oneok Room of the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center.

Student panelists will share how they have paid for college and what they have learned. They and Powercat Financial will help answer questions such as: What are my options? How do I pay for college without family help? What if I’m not eligible for the FAFSA? When should student loans be utilized? ... and much more.

Students who attend the event will walk away with resources to help them pay for college and be entered into a drawing for one $100 Visa card. As an added bonus in-person attendees will get a snack bag.
