Teaching and Learning Center presents professional development event today

J.J. Brotton, instructor of marketing, will present "Student Engagement in the Classroom and Beyond" from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, via Zoom.
One of the best ways to be successful in the classroom is to engage our students. Brotton will provide tips and tricks for engaging students both while they are active in your class and when they are outside your classroom walls. These ideas can also be easily adapted for online classes. Discussion will include how to greet your students, gathering feedback after exams, and everything in between. Bring your ideas for student engagement to share — one of the best ways to engage students is to learn from them, so we will learn from each other as well.
