Registration opens for Urban Food Systems Symposium; discounted rates available

Submitted by Greg Tammen

Early bird registration opens Friday, April 1, for the 2022 Urban Food Systems Symposium.

A discounted early registration rate is available until 5 p.m. on May 31. After that time, tickets for both students and regular attendees will increase by $50.

The Urban Food Systems Symposium is Sept. 26-29 at the historic Hotel Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. It brings together academic and research-oriented professionals from around the world to share and gain knowledge on how to build coalitions, adapt to a changing world and discuss how urban food systems contribute to these solutions.

This year's theme is "Building Coalitions for a Changing World." Programming and invited speakers will explore the topic with attendees throughout the symposium's three days.

The Urban Food Systems Symposium is hosted by Kansas State University and K-State Research and Extension.
