International Student and Scholar Services names scholarship winners
International Student and Scholar Services coordinates the awarding of multiple scholarships open to the international student community at Kansas State University.
The International Student Scholarship Committee was composed of representatives from multiple areas of campus. The committee has selected 14 students for seven different scholarships awarded for the 2022 fall semester.
"As in other years, the scholarship competition was very competitive," said Sara Thurston, director of International Student and Scholar Services. "We thank the students for taking time to prepare their applications and the recommenders for spending time on nomination letters."
Scholarship recipients will be presented award certificate at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the International Talent Show in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union. Please join us to celebrate these students.
This year's scholarship recipients:

- Yunrong Feng, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Maria Lopez Zavala, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Rania Marie Buenavista, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Roselle Barretto, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Sabita Ranabhat, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Ketan Shende, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Maryam Kazemidemneh, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Pingping Chen, International Student Center scholarship winner.
- Juan Felix Sanabria, William L. Richter scholarship winner.
- Woosuk Jang, Do Sup Chung scholarship winner.
- Chipo Kambarami, Philip and Jeune Kirmser scholarship winner.
- Kuan-Lun Ho, M&H Taiwan scholarship winner.
- Hung-Chi Peng, Joe Tiao International Student scholarship winner.
The K-State Alumni Association international scholarship recipients will be released at a later date.
